By downloading, installing, or using gratu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

gratu is a gratitude journaling app for iOS. The app stores your data locally on your device and optionally syncs via your personal iCloud account. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all journal entries, photos, and other content you create in gratu. Your content is stored on your device and, if enabled, your iCloud account. We cannot access your content.

You are responsible for backing up your data. While iCloud sync provides redundancy, we recommend periodic backups of important content.

In-App Purchases

gratu offers optional Pro features through in-app purchases managed by Apple. All purchases are processed through your Apple ID and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. To request a refund, contact Apple Support.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use gratu only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app, or use it in ways that could harm the app or other users.

Intellectual Property

gratu, including its design, code, graphics, and features (excluding your content), is owned by gratu. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app.

Disclaimer of Warranties

gratu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

The app is intended for personal journaling and wellness purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health advice or treatment.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, gratu. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
